Sumarie Greybe, an actuary and co-founder of Naked Insurance, recently spoke to the Partner Elite entrepreneurs and shared some surprising truths about the company behind that cheeky billboard campaign: they’re primarily a tech company (even though they sell short-term insurance), they’ve never sold a product over the phone (and promise they never will), and it was started – in part – as the result of a midlife crisis.
Sumarie also shared some advice that’s helped her on her entrepreneurial journey, saying that some things just come down to luck, that just because something hasn’t been done before doesn’t mean it can’t be, and that who you get into bed with – professionally and personally – can have a huge impact on how successful you are on your entrepreneurial journey.
